Just out of curiosity, was the name of the baby you met pronounced "Sear-sha" or "Sir-sha"? From what I understand, while the former pronunciation is much more common, either is correct. |

It seems like Hazel is becoming popular. A friend of mine from college & my co-worker both recently named their daughters Hazel & I met another baby Hazel at the park the other day. Its increased popularity is not suprising, I guess, given the recent revival of so many "old lady" names. The fact that the main character in the book/movie The Fault In Our Stars is named Hazel probably have the name a popluarity boost, as well. |
