That might be one of the worst names I've ever heard. It has elements of both an old kind of ugly-sounding name (Fern) with the most annoying of new trashy/trendy names (adding "leigh" to everything). Yuck.

I love Fern. She'll always be the girl who loved Wilbur.

OMG, some of these are horrible.

Truly horrible. Do the parents not get how ridiculously matchy matchy some of these are?

I think matchy matchy is what they were going for?

My word. Olivia and Oliver? Ellery and Elliot? Do people not realize that twins are, in fact, two different people?

Baby girl: Anna
Baby boy: Theodore (Teddy)

Some of these names are way out there! I’m actually surprised. I have 2 young kids and my friends are still having babies, and I can’t think of any names among them that are TRULY unusual or out there.

I think it goes in trends. My friend group went kind of out there with names and I was surprised! And then when I had a baby I felt pressure to do the same, but we stuck to our guns and went with a more common (not super common, just more recognizable) name. I like my friends' kids' names, but they just didn't feel right to me and I didn't want to give my kid a unique name just for the sake of giving her a unique name, you know?
