| Will the school year rule cause any additional shake up to teams that could further compound problems for GFR? Or do all coaches just plan to grandfather in anyone who was on team this year but by age rule would go to other team next year? Is that even a thing? Possible? |
It’s got to be player specific. I can only see exceptions made at the older age levels and only if the player is top 5 and wants to play up. There are so many players at every age that will benefit from playing with their “grade.” Mostly the kids that aren’t playing very many minutes now. |
oh yeah, no greed amongst the GFR coaches at ALL. lol |
| the ones w/ paybacks, yes. most are getting screwed on pay. young girls have a coach who barely speaks English and parents are ready to walk. huge part of whyKG left-and more likely soon too. some of best coaches underpaid and overworked while RS demands more $$ |
Who is the “young girls … coach who barely speaks English”? Or, what team does he/she coach? The two primarily U9/U10 girls coaches have been with GFR for years and are generally well-liked. We know lots of kids and parents across all six U9/U10 girls teams and don’t know of anyone who is unhappy. |
| Who’s gonna replace KG |
For coaches you expect to leave- at all age ranges? How often do players follow coaches to other teams? Is team following more likely at certain ages? If coaches do leave, is it easy to find new coaches or will parents have to step up to keep teams at GFR if coaches leave? |
Don’t feed the troll. |
this person has no idea what they are talking about. ignore. |
who barely speaks english? are you saying that's why parents are ready to walk or is it because KG left or is it because coaches are "underpaid" - which one is it? |
Don’t feed the trolls. |
fair enough

| Winter is coming |
| What’s the deal on the boys side? Kids rostered for GFR and NVU? I get it that it’s two different carding systems but that’s wild |
