Epstein is a core issue for MAGA. And it’s not even really a conspiracy. We all know it happened, and that high profile people were involved. And really, we all know he was involved as well (particularly as he protests far too much for his own good this time). At the very least, this takes a lot of wind out of the MAGA movement.

Not at all. The immense majority of Trump voters are busy people who aren't terminally online. Fox has always been the channel that's perpetually on in all restaurants, bars, medical offices, and nursing homes all around MAGA country, and in a lot of individual homes. Comparatively few consult Truth Social directly or watch other right wing channels or bro podcasts.

This a very intense tempest, but in a very small teapot. The rest of the china cabinet is not involved and will blindly follow Trump wherever he goes.

In the not too distant past, that was CNN, the news channel covering plane crashes and earthquakes. Fox has not "always" been the channel playing everywhere. And it isn't anymore, either.

That’s what everyone is wondering. I think it is because they don’t draw a direct line from Trump to any of the things you mentioned, which leaves room to blame Biden, Hunter’s laptop, Hillary’s emails, Kamala’s laugh, etc. but this - they were counting on these files to take down the dems. He ran on that. For whatever reason, this has enraged them more than anything else. Ever. And now he is lashing out at them. His supporters are seeing, for the first time, footage of all the pedo things he has said. Which means RW media isn’t sheltering him like they always have. I am seeing plenty of people who just saw the montage of all his pedo comments, and they are genuinely shook and had no idea he said those things. This isn’t making excuses for them. But it should point out the f that media controls what we believe to be the truth
