I love this Season and Meryl Streep is sublime as always!

Ashley Park is everywhere these days. If you’ve seen “Emily in Paris” you know she also has a beautiful singing voice. I loved when she joined Meryl in singing in Ep 3.

Ashley Park is great! If you have Peacock, she's in Girls5Eva, which is such a good show - she's also in that movie Joy Ride, which I think was much much funnier than it's gotten credit for.

I like Selena generally but her voice is drab and odd in this show. Kind of grating.

Agreed. Selena drags most scenes down. I know she has had some serious health issues but she can barely move her mouth or make facial expressions now. I started watching season 1 again with daughter and it’s jarring how much she has changes since that first season. She was able to actually move her mouth and make expressions. She really needs and acting coach, especially up against masters like Martin and short. Martin Short deserves and Emmy for his role, he is brilliant.

I like Selena Gomez in this. I assumed the voice was a generational thing, no? The character is reserved, if not secretive. And she has lived a trauma-filled life. Gomez's air of detachment works to convey this.

Ashley is a Tony nominated Broadway actress. Her singing voice is beautiful. This was well before Emily in Paris.

I adore this show! Meryl is such a treat and so was Matthew Broderick in his one episode.
As a PP noted, Selena Gomez is noticeably having a hard time moving her mouth and having facial expressions- and she seems stiff. Tough for her if she’s wrestling with health issues while having to act next to Meryl Streep.

She was pretty terrible the first season. She never should have been cast in the first place. I know her character is dry, sarcastic etc, but it still requires acting. Selena thinks that no facial expressions and monotone voice in every scene is how to play sarcastic.

I was never a Meryl Streep fan, for whatever reason, but seeing her on Only Murders has turned me into one. Her singing, in particular, has been a surprising treat.
As always, Martin Short steels most scenes he’s in. He’s incredibly funny.

Love this season although I feel like it could have been a couple of episodes shorter. There were a few in the middle, including the Matthew Broderick one, which didn’t really add to the story.

I feel like there will be at least one more twist in the last episode.
