| I love how they try to justify cheating. No humility or mea culpa. It's your fault for catching us and trying to make us feel bad about it! Shame on you for that! |
Sorry, insect, YOU are the one who came here and started making excuses for the team's gutless withdrawal from HoCo. All the discussion is a direct result of what YOU said. And now you're trying to deflect attention and make it all about everyone else, not you. Not gonna work. Why don't you just stop digging? Stop your idiotic pretense that anyone is inappropriately criticizing 11 year olds. Everyone knows that the coach made that decision and the kids had nothing to do with it. Yet for some reason you felt compelled to come here and justify the coach's awful behavior. Do you give the coach's nutmegs a tongue bath after practice, too? One Cavs coach is a cheater who subs in high school kids on a 5th grade team. Another Cavs coach is a quitter. What an outstanding organization it is!

I think this whole thing is an attempt to make Cavs
Even a thing most don’t care |
New poster here. I'm just an observer and you have serious mental health issues. I hope you get help. You sound miserable. |
| Agreed, no adult should be this obsessed with a kids lacrosse team, let alone one their family doesn’t play on. Serious internet stalker vibes. |
Yeah it’s really weird and out of line to talk about a Cavs team in a Cavs thread after a Cavs parent made a controversial post about a Cav’s coach’s decision. 🙄 It is impossible to “stalk” a team in a DCUM thread so just stop it with that nonsense. |
I’m not the OP here but you are 8-10 posts in about a group of little boys that you don’t know. It is a little strange and I’m not sure what you think you’re accomplishing at this point. As previously noted this is just youth sports, you should probably move on. |
| The Cavs used a high school player in a sixth grade game. |
And the number of people who care<WNBA crowd> |
Most of the posts are not about the team at all, but about the behavior of the coach and the legitimacy of the excuses of other PPs for the behavior of the coach. The coach, and the PPs in this thread, are adults and are perfectly valid targets for criticism. Efforts to describe criticism of them as criticism of "little boys" are invalid and will fail. I don't even know how we can have a Lacrosse (or soccer) subforum without "talking about groups of boys we don't know." Basically you don't like what's being said, not the fact that talking is occurring. Too bad for you. Feel free to not read this forum thread again if it bothers you. |
| New Poster here. Curious, is this the same Cavs team who’s Videographer Dad, made his team forfeit a McLean Box League game because he wouldn’t wear a mask? |
Seriously? Your response is that not very many people care? I would bet that every single family who has a son in the HoCo league cares. I did not have a son in this particular game, but I do have a son in HoCo, and I care a lot that a coach and a parent (who happens to be a coach himself) thought it was ok to play a HS kid in a sixth grade game. In fact if anybody reading this forum does NOT care, I would be interested to hear the reason why you don’t. |
| I don’t care my kid is in the elite division this was an irrelevant game |
you're irrelevant. see how this goes? it's a lacrosse thread - ignore it if it doesn't interest you. |
I have a son in Elite and I do care. I find it stunning that there are youth coaches at any level who think it is ok to play a high school kid in a sixth grade game. |
