BIM has wasted the last three years with incoherent, incompetent management. They are back to where they were in fall 2018, albeit with several million dollars more vaporized in operating losses. No new facilities or dramatic additions to anything at the school, just back to the test-test-test-test-test-test-test "special curriculum" thing. |

They turned over 2/3-3/4 of the faculty during his tenure, including many of the best STEM teachers. And he became the longest-serving HOS in school history at three whole years. Most of the others rarely lasted a year or less. Rah-rah-rah. |

The indisputable answer here is yes. The school went from <500 students during the worst of COVID to now around 700 students, while continuing to place seniors at the top universities every year. Doesn’t mean the school is perfect and is better than *name your favorite school here*. But the HOS has done as good of a job as anyone possibly can. The new HOS will be the current associate HOS so the past few years’ progress should continue seamlessly. Btw, the HOS has been here since 2021 and won’t leave until Fall 2025. Also, there is nowhere near 50% teacher turnover since the current HOS took over in 2021. Previous posters have a personal vendetta with the school for some reason, and have no problem pulling facts out of thin air. As a parent, we have been very happy with the HOS over the past few years and am sad he is leaving but am also happy with the school’s decision to promote the associate HOS. Jury is still out on how it’ll turn out. |

Get a 2020 yearbook and compare the faculty faces to who is on the website now. Count. See that the evidence bears out that level of faculty turnover. Then don't embarrass yourself denying what is easy to verify. That makes all the cheerleading even worse. BTW, one of the many previous generations of management pledged early and often to build out the rest of the school once they reached 600 students. When is that planned now? |

Same stuff, different day. The BIM boosters will start to crawl out of the woodwork now that the selective schools are closing their application windows. Pretty much ZERO was seen on these boards about them when selective applications were still underway. Gotta love those rolling admissions as a safety valve. |

it's true that the HOS is leaving after only three years to return to managing a school in China, the faculty has turned over substantially in the last five years, the second half of the school was never built out as promised, and Niche ratings are a garbage joke that no one else on DCUM ever refers to when discussing the truly selective schools, who stand on their own merits. Facts aren't hateful, they just are. All of that can be easily verified. |

Take your own advice at the end. You simply had to scroll up in this thread to see that he started in Fall of 2021 (think he actually started earlier but that was his first full semester), and he is leaving in the Fall of 2025. You then proceed to start your post with a lie and say he is leaving after three years. |
