He has said repeatedly that he has no plans to run for ANY office. Dems hate him because he is effective and calls out their hypocrisy and far left agenda.
And, his ratings consistently top those of his competitors.

No. Let me set the record straight. We don't hate him because he is effective, because he is not. We don't hate him because he calls out hypocrisy, because he does not in any meaningful way. We don't hate him because he calls out a far left agenda, because the agenda Democrats have set forth is not far left by any stretch of the imagination.

We hate him because he has suckered credulous dupes like you into fervently believing that down is up and that Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia. We hate him because he has lowered political discourse and has cultivated a cult-like following of angry rubes impervious to facts.

First of all.... if the Democrat's agenda is so damn popular and appealing to the majority of Americans, why the rush to push everything through? It's because the Dems KNOW their agenda is far left and not popular and are desperate to push things through because they foresee losing at least the House in 2022.
Secondly, if you want to talk about the rubes who are impervious to facts, I can't help but think of all the stories that networks like CNN and MSNBC were pushing that had absolutely no basis in fact. But, that didn't stop all you rubes from hanging onto their every word as if it was proven fact.... the Steele Dossier, the collusion with Russia, the FISA warrants, the bounties on US soldiers.
So, please - no lectures on "cult-like following of angry rubes impervious to facts." We have seen that play during the past 4 years on the part of gullible liberals.

That's fine.

Is Bezos making overtures about running for public office?

No, but he is trying to own and run the world.

What evidence do you have for his nefarious intent, other than being successful?

For the record, in 1986 Bezos was a science nerd graduating with a 4.2 in engineering at Princeton, where he was President of the princeton chapter of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space. Scandalous! In 1987, he was debugging computer code for a telecom startup serving the financial industry called Fintel. It would make for an extremely boring interview.

Scandalous. Bet Bezos didn't even have enough time to join the Jesse Helms society!

Ummm liberals hate Tucker because he is laundering white nationalist propaganda every night on his show.

This is an example of what happens when Big Tech, the media, and the Democrats join forces. Pick a target and do everything you can to try to discredit, dox, or ruin their name and reputation. Tucker Carlson has shown his is not afraid to call out others for their hypocrisy, misconduct, and radical ideas. This scares the left. He is effective. So, time to take him out.

In this case, it won't work. Carlson called him out.
The left has been trying to take him out for a while. They have failed at every turn. So will Bezos.

Others have not been so lucky in fighting against the Big Tech/media/Democratic machine. Like the police officer in Norfolk fired for donating to Rittenhouse.

Bezos tactics" is called journalism.

The same journalism that showcased Benghazi, Hillary's emails, Franken's pictures, etc.

Why is it ok to expose their failures and fissures but not those on the right?

LOL. This is NOT journalism. Searching for dirt in the high school and college yearbook of a competitor is not journalism.
Bezos is very selective with the "scandals" he chooses to report on. Still wondering where the database of lies for Biden is. He's told some whoppers so far.

How is it a scandal? Tucker made this part of who he is! Why wouldn't voters and viewers want to know that? Why would anyone think that even Tucker wants to keep it hidden? It's right there in the yearbook. Not exactly sneaking into the house and reading his diary.

This isn't a scandal. Why is Tucker Carlson's private life from 30 or 40 years ago any business of Bezos or any other news group? Why do they find it appropriate to contact his friends from his teens to try to dig up any dirt on him? Why WOULD viewers or voters want to know any of this? He is not a politician.
They aren't just looking through the yearbook. They are digging into his past by contacting his classmates. That's another level of crazy.

They are doing this for one reason..... they view him as a danger to their agenda.
Funny thing is, this type of voyeurism might intimidate others. It will only make Carlson hit harder against Bezos and company.

You sure seem to be fixated on Bezos. He is not a journalist. Why don't you actually name the journalists working on this story? Then we could take your ire more seriously.

Bezos owns the paper. He is accountable for the stories that appear. Wemple is his employee. If you think Bezos knows nothing of this..... LOL!!!!

This is hysterical. You do not know how journalism works.

I thought Republicans loved those job-creating innovative entrepreneurs. What gives?

They hate him because Trump hates him. Trump hates him because he owns the Washington Post, and they kept an accurate count of his lies.

LOL. Nope.

No. Little Man hates Bezos because Bezos is a highly successful and legitimate entrepreneur who happens to have a few times more money than the Little Man has had, has or ever will have. Bezos is the dream of many American entrepreneurs. Little Man is simply a loser in all senses of the word.

I’m not a journalist and I don’t pretend to be, but journalism isn’t just looking at old yearbooks. That’s a thing they’re also doing, but what they’re probably going to do is find his friends and enemies from the time, employers and colleagues and talk to them. I have no idea what they’re looking for or what they’ll find, but it’s likely that someone from that time in Tucker’s life tipped Wemple off that Tucker did something or was into something. He’s a roundly terrible human being, so it’s probably a pretty fertile field. The one yearbook page is not the totality of the investigation.

More like there's no sense in wasting time waiting around for Republicans to stop obstructing every piece of legislation that Americans wants and need. Crumbling bridges aren't going to fix themselves while we spend a year watching Republicans further demonstrate that they're not willing to engage.

The Democratic agenda IS popular and appealing to the majority of Americans. The reason they have to "rush things through" is because Congress is ridiculously slanted towards the MINORITY of Americans and Democrats know they only have so much time before the gerrymandered House and Senate designed to give disproportionate power to less populated rural states takes away their ability to pass ANYTHING since all the GOP does is obstruct and block bills.

the Senate has favored small states over large ones since its inception because of the decision at the Constitutional Convention in 1787 to give each state two senators regardless of population. But the gap between large states represented by Democrats and small rural states represented by Republicans keeps growing. Today, the country’s largest state, California, has 68 times the population of the smallest one, Wyoming, yet they have the same number of seats in the Senate. That means individual voters in deep-red Wyoming have far more influence over the Senate than voters in deep blue California.

This makes the Senate deeply unrepresentative of the American people and puts Democrats at a major disadvantage, since Democrats tend to represent highly populated urban states while Republicans represent smaller, more rural ones. In 2018, Democratic Senate candidates won the popular vote by a margin of 54 to 46 percent, but Republicans gained two seats in the chamber.

In 2012, Republicans maintained a 33-seat majority in the House, even though GOP candidates as a group got 1.4 million fewer votes than their Democratic opponents.

There's a critical distinction between reporting on stories sourced by intelligence and outright fabricating lies about the election results and ranting that immigrants are replacing native-born culture, but thanks for illustrating to us all that Republicans can't tell the difference. Truly, it's no wonder gullible yokels like you love Tucker so much.

Carlson is just the new boogeyman media needs to beat up on. Wapo/Nytimes/Cnn/Msnbc/Dailybeast don't want him off the air, they want to build him up into something bigger and scarier than he actually is. Only a couple million senile old white grandpas watch Tucker in a nation of upwards of 400 million. Cable news in general is irrelevant.

Read the whole thread and it’s here, but safe to say not drooling over segregationists or homophobic murderers.
