what's the most teenager-y thing your teen has said recently?

Teen: Why do I need to fold my laundry, I just stick them in the drawers.
Me: So you don't look like a wrinkled slop.
Teen: I'm ok with that.

This is so my kid, DS14.

Also dislikes making his bed “the covers are just going to get messy again when I go back to bed”

I’ve simplified his bedding to just a duvet in a cover, no top sheet and he still doesn’t want to straighten it out. It’s always hanging off the side and bunched down to the end of the bed. I’ve tried positive reinforcement and sharing feedback about it being a hallmark of a good daily habit but he doesn’t care.

He does do laundry well but hates folding and putting it away.
