Why do you love ruining my life?!
Yelled with tears, because the wifi automatically cut out at a certain time at night. |

Our youngest is 15 and SUPER hormonal, but grew being the A+ kid in the house, and now has been struggling with online school.
Our eldest has always put school on the back burner, but is smart. He's doing really well in college (from home because of covid). Him talking to me and his dad: "I think I'll do really well this semester, I've already completed the first ten assignments in my math class." 15 year old daughter: "What the hell John? Are you getting good grades just to make me look bad? You have never cared before, but now that you see me struggling you decide to do homework?!!!" Followed by a dramatic stomp up to her room. It was so funny and dramatic that we weren't even sure that she was serious. Then she hollered down for us to stop laughing. She isn't wrong. He hasn't cared much before, but it certainly isn't to spite her. Her grades aren't even bad, but now she has to try a bit more than she did in elementary and middle school. |
I LOLed at this. |
Teen: Why do I need to fold my laundry, I just stick them in the drawers. Me: So you don't look like a wrinkled slop. Teen: I'm ok with that. |

| 14 year old DS -“no body likes you” . After being told his gaming time was up. |
| Tonight after being told not to talk back: "What, we can't ever disagree with you? We can't ever stand up for ourselves?!" |
That is awesome!

Said in response to 99% of whatever a parent says to her. |

She was awesome! My grandmother was a close friend of hers, they used to take Spanish lessons together! |
|
She offered to help me clean off the snow covered car...by boiling water.
