It's really hard to steel yourself to lie 24/7. Most people can't do it, even if paid to do so. Not only have Trump's press secretaries had to lie like everyone in his Cabinet, but they've had to explain, argue and defend their lies. It's an impossible task, and explains the high turnover at the post, as well as the emotions. They are angry and afraid that if they don't lie convincingly enough, their boss will be angry (and his anger is apparently very unpleasant).

Not a healthy job AT ALL, physically, and psychologically.

It still blows my mind that she’s a new mom and just left her kid back in Florida.

Our baby is the same age. I can’t imagine being so angry and lying everyday for living, while not seeing our kid daily. I think the only way she can do the job is if her kid is kept far away from DC. I’m convinced she has a chemical imbalance.

And yet, if she was a Democrat, you’d be crowing about how she “has it all” and anyone criticizing her work/life balance would be immediately labeled a misogynist. Wow, this is almost too easy.

You've got nothing PP. Just give it up. Your "and yet if she were a Democrat" is stupid, no matter how much you use it.

R's are attracted to massive bitches, apparently. I think it's accurate to call Sean Spicer a massive bitch, too.

I think it’s accurate to call you a massive bitch. And it’ll be so interesting to hear your outrage the next time a Democratic woman is attacked. Bookmarking all of these posts.

Spare us the faux outrage. Like you haven’t spent decades attacking the likes of Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, the Squad, Kamala Harris.......
If you Trumpkins didn’t have double standard you’d have no standards at all.

I’ve never attacked any of the above women for their parenting choices, their looks, or their marriages. Policies are fair game. But sure, try to draw some kind of “parallel.” You’re absurd.

Give it up. You just sound more ridiculous with each post. I’m sure Hannity, Carlson, Ingraham and Pirro would love to have you on.

I see her getting a multi-million contract from Newsmax early next year. She's too hard line for the direction Fox News is headed and she's a Florida resident, where Newsmax is headquartered.

She's a tiny bit better than the talking b\/ttocks Sara Sanders. I'd never used the word "muscular" to describe a face before.

Yep, liberals love to attack appearances - just not of other liberal women. Verboten!

When people are hateful, others hate all of them, face included. When they're likable, they're forgiven everything. Have you not noticed this in life yet? People who others like are seen as more attractive in general. It's hard to find the beauty in mean people's faces. But my God, that hateful aggressive Sara Sanders muscular face.... her eyebrows, once she discovered makeup, were drawn on like huge spears pointing down towards her nose, and seem to move asynchronously. Yikes.

I would hire her once she leaves this position. Set her to task and I am sure she would kill it in the private sector.

Agree

She does indeed do the reporters' jobs. How embarrassing for the press to always come unprepared!

THIS ^^^
She can run circles around the idiot press.

That was sarcasm FYI

Stop talking about the baby. Many dads go right off to work after their child is born, often extended travel. Her career is ascendant while her DH career is declining. He should get a job as a sports newscaster in FL and stay with the kid. I don’t begrudge her career and parenting choices, we all do the best we can, but don’t go all ‘but she’s a mother with a baby’

Because she thinks being pretty, white and kind of smart means she should always be catered to.

Leaving the baby in florida is weird. The normal thing would be to move the whole family to DC if you have little kids and a big DC job (male or female!)

They could see the writing on the wall -- that Trump wouldn't win reelection and her stint was temporary.

Maybe there’s some kind of custody issue.

Now do Nancy Pelosi! The fact that her eyebrow touch her cheekbones is astounding.

I’ll attack literally anyone’s appearance.

Here’s one: you’re ugly!

Well see, they *wouldn’t* criticize her parenting choices if she was a liberal woman. No, they’d be fawning over it and applauding her for putting her career first.
