Obviously we can say today that none of the people driving trucks on the Beltway yesterday were trying to hurt or kill nyome, but if I had to take my chances with one or the other, I'd prefer to be among pedestrians.

As for Dems vs Repubs in terms of violence one Dem in Ohio that's it. Do you see Dem trains? Who ran over someone in Charlottesville Conservative. Who came guns in hand? Conservatives. Who is still coming guns in hand in Oregon and Seattle and Idaho? I am a gun owner 2nd Amendment fan that said Conservatives are the aggressors right now and there is no evidence that Dems are doing the same. This is what happens when you have underfunded public education and income inequality. We have tons of Trump supporters in NC. A lot of poor white people who do not feel any sort of "privilege" due to generations of poverty. Yet they are uneducated and racist, so it makes sense to them to blame faceless "liberals" and "the blacks" instead of understanding the connection between the people they elect and their depressed wages. They worry so much about taxes because they are paid measly amounts. They must feel so powerless. It's dangerous, but also incredibly pitiful.
