THANK YOU. God forbid they employ some actual problem-solving and not just take the easy, lazy, irresponsible way out. |
+1,000 Once again, NEEDS versus WANTS. And no, really, really wanting something does not, contrary to popular entitled belief, make it a NEED. |
Good try, but no. There are umpteen examples of where one or some people in the house test positive and others don't, even those living in small spaces. It's not as simple as "if I have it, everyone in my house has it." And besides, aren't we being told by the Open School Now screaming parents that kids have these amazo-immune systems and whatever, they aren't even getting it anyway? |
Did you really come on this thread at 4 am to yell about “NEEDS VS. WANTS” in 4 separate posts, like it’s March/April again? Stay in your bunker, the world is moving on without you. |
+1. Night brings out the crazies. |
How about you start yelling at the little old husband and wife pottering around Wegmans? No couples should be together at the grocery store, right? |
Right? Whoever is worried about reducing the number of people should be incensed that two adults would go shopping together- but probably aren't. But OMG the germy kids! I'm not the biggest fan of grocery shopping with my kids to begin with and probably only took them <25% of the time pre-covid. I haven't taken the 1yo at all since March but the 4yo has occasionally come when needed. Mainly if we just need a few things or are going to the local farm market, which is semi-open air. I don't take him on the longer trips where the chances of him wandering away or losing patience are greater. But I'm not going to twist myself in knots to avoid bringing him. |
Children should be seen and not heard. |
