Are they joking? No schedules until 8/24?

this means nothing if our kids are now required to be present at designated times throughout the day. How can you be so confident that what you figured out in the spring will work in the fall?

Yes, FFS this. Do you have a crystal ball that tells you when the “mandatory” group sessions will be? Is your job totally cool with you accommodating that schedule?

+1

There is uniformity in the amount of class time offered across grade levels in DCPS. The actual times are up to individual schools.

+1 Deal released a tentative schedule that has absolutely nothing on Wednesdays - its entirely self-directed day apparently. The DCPS schedule made no mention of that in the 100% DL model....

I think Wednesday is for small groups. Each Child will potentially have a different schedule based on their course load and group placement.

No Wednesday is for PDs. There may be some live but way less than the other days. It’s not small group day, that will be 1-2x a week depending on the school

This is what you all griped about in the fall. You wanted more ‘live’ instruction. So here goes. You snooze you lose.
This is going to be an absolute mess. No way two working parents can wrestle their kids on/off w computer from 8-3.

If the parents would sign limited liability waivers (like the do for daycares) and we could enforce mask wearing (like they do in daycares) we’d be able to open up the buildings.
