What is your vote for the new name for the Washington Redskins?

It should be the Pigskins (they don’t have to change the fight song, half the fans already call them the Skins anyway) or the Hogs (another name with fan lore, people dress up with snouts to attend games). It’ll probably end up being the Warriors with a full logo change and everything, which is kind of lame IMO.

It is done. They are changing the name. Announced this morning. New one not disclosed but intended to honor military and native Americans (so it will be the Warriors.)

I am not doing anything about solving the problems of the NA community. Take a lap for those that fought to change the name...big win...huge help...about as much as I have done for them and their communities. In other words, changing a name doesn't solve a damn thing; it only makes those who fought for it to feel better, that's about it. Congrats.
