My DC had the same reaction.

Not sure what drove hers. I was turned off by a faculty panel in which is was clear that the pre-med advisor gave VERY little time to her advisees and hardly knew them personally. Her values, with regard to entering a health profession really seemed off.

Same. Our DS and DD both hated W&M. Described it as cold and depressing. And it had nothing to do with the weather. Both toured in the spring.
