Everything will worsen because MCPS is broken. MCPS has really declined within the last decade. Sadly, I don’t think it will ever recover but continue its decline.

"Declined" along what metric? Are college acceptances down? National Merit Scholars? SAT scores? Regeneron ISEF winners? CSPAN Student Cam winners?
