Question: What parent would know all the scores of a club to club friendly? Answer: A coach. |
It is silly for coaches to post friendly results, and they are feeding parents who are classic sheep - who feel they have made a good choice when teams for which their daughter may play does well against opponents their child will never play. It does not reflect well on any of them. |

^^With how bad Bethesda performed, I can't imagine a Bethesda coach would publish that info.
FCV looking strong though...wow! They left no doubt. |
Only FCV play friendlies to win. Only FCV will post scores of all the games of friendlies. |
YOU brought it up - you wanted to know - you asked. Now you get upset when someone answers? Tool. Thank goodness there are so many forums here. You can spend your whole day being a crazy complainer. |
Nope, I'm a different poster and not only do I not care I think it is silly that someone actually took the time to find out all the scores in the first place. How insecure can you be? I'm not commenting on the results of a friendly, I'm commenting on someone taking the time to find the scores to post. It makes you look silly and petty frankly. |
I'm not the score poster. SOMEONE brought up the question. You look silly for only commenting on one response and not the entire thread. If you dont care - move on - dont post. SOMEONE who did care asked the question. Why in the world didnt you berate that poster? You seem to like to just badger and badger. Go back - read all the comments and snark away. (since clearly you do totally care) |
Ok, ALL the comments are dumb but posting Friendly scores is the most dumb of them all. Feel better? |
|
LOL, you guys do understand you are reading into a pre-season scrimmage?!?!?
Who cares!!!!! |
And B teams as well. The insecurity runs deep. |
| Well when your kid’s soccer is all you have to hold on to and live for, it becomes an obsession. That’s pretty much the definition of an FCV parent. KIDDING. JUST KIDDING. |
| ranking clubs overall is meaningless. Does your kid play in 10 different age groups? |
| Once you get to U13 and U14, rankings matter much less as families shift to thinking about being positioned for college recruiting. The platform you play in is what becomes most important. If you are in DA (or ECNL), every game is vs the best competition. Every winter, spring and summer showcase beats the best tournaments for exposure. |
Correct. That, and generally your kid having fun and learning. |
