Jesse and Rory are getting a sister, and her name is ________?

Going with the Gilmore Girls and gender switching theme - Rickie (female variant of Richard) of Christie (Christopher, natch)

I’m also having a flashback to a very hot young male character in some TV show I watched that wore a jean jacket. I can see his face but can’t think of the name of the TV show.

Except that the song is actually, confusingly "Jessie's Girl".

You might choose not to name a boy Rory but nationally more ppl use the name Rory for boys than for girls. In 2018, Rory was the 368th most popular boy's name; it has been ranked in the top 1000 every year since 1947. Rory was the 579th most popular girls name; it has only been ranked since 2003 and annually only since 2013.

I was just going to suggest Logan-y. Or Emily, which is obvious. Possibly Dean-y.

I know a man who is about 70 named Rory- very Irish man. The name might be making a transition to being used for girls more, like the name Ryan is also.

Rory for a girl is often a nickname. I know two Auroras who go by Rory.

OP here. We kind of like Jordan and Cameron, but don't LOVE them. We definitely don't want to do an old lady name and don't care about connecting to Gilmore Girls. I think the boy on there was Jess, not Jesse, if we're being technical.

What are Jesse and Rory nicknames for?

Wait, I assumed Jesse and Rory were both boys. Are they girls?
