OP, I happen to think that Rory is a boy name, and JESSE is one of my favorite names.

How are people confused that Jesse is a boys name? Do they not know Jesse James? Or Jesse’s Girl (you know I wish that I had....)? I’m also having a flashback to a very hot young male character in some TV show I watched that wore a jean jacket. I can see his face but can’t think of the name of the TV show.

Are you thinking of Jesse on Breaking Bad? Also, Rory is very much a guy name, Rory Calhoun for instance. Wikipedia lists about 100 male Rorys and only four female.

You must mean Uncle Jesse Duke from Dukes of Hazzard! He usually wore tattered and faded denim overalls, though! ?

Or, possibley, Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) from Full House! ?
