This is an extremely stupid post, and real law firms aren't looking for "well trained lawyers" as associates. |
it was 70% only twenty years ago lol |
Why, because it makes you feel inferior? |
Nobody cares about UChicago, except maybe David Brooks. |
|
I went there and the very few times I am actually asked I answer with “Harvard.”
Like most things, most people don’t care about it and the ones who do care will stalk you on LinkedIn or your company bio page anyway. The few who ask don’t care and are just making conversation. |
|
Why would you say where you went to college? It is like telling people what school you attended?
I would suspect that they are trying to get a feel of what ses standing your family is How about: interesting that you ask. It was a long time ago I studied this and this. I believe the curriculum has changed and University level classes now focus more on this and this What do you think about the different focus? |
Talking about where one went to college is a pretty normal subject that normal people discuss from time to time. |
If you are 25, maybe. If you are 40, nobody cares. |
So 40-year-olds can't discuss where they grew up? Where they went to school? Where they worked at some earlier point in their careers? Again, this is a normal thing that normal people sometimes talk about. |
A self-selected bunch. Still a pretty impressive group. |
| MAY ALL YOUR PROBLEMS BE THIS BIG!!! |
You can talk about it all you want, but nobody cares. Well maybe your mother, but she already knows. |
Are you autistic? |
No. Are you narcissistic? |
No I definitely met someone a few years back and somehow in conversation I asked where she went to school and she said she went to school in New Haven. |
