Jeff was almost 30 when they got married, Mackenzie was 24. Not "very young" by most people's definitions.

They weren't babies when they got married but they were young and really just starting off in life. 26 years is a long time to be together and they had really achieved so much together. Plus they have a 19 year old son together. It's sad that their marriage ended. But if someone like Sanchez could come between them, there was probably a lot more going on there than they are letting on. It's good that they can split up and still remain on friendly terms. That says a lot about both of them.
