They got married back in '93. They were both very young and they were probably very much in love. It's sad that their marriage ended but it also sounds as though it ended amicably and that they remain on friendly terms. His former wife appears to be a class act, she'll be o.k.

We have no clue if it ended amicably or not. All we know is what they chose to share. Also we don’t know that they were unhappy before homewrecker Lauren appeared.

I'm only going by what the wife, herself, has said. It sounds like she got a fair settlement and is free to start a new life for herself. It may not be what she had wanted for herself but at least he was fair to her.

And that would be her business. Ending a 25+ year marriage would be pretty gut wrenching I would think. She doesn't owe the world an explanation as to how she feels about it. Her own statement is good enough for me.
