Intense crush on an actor

A former late middle-aged coworker developed an intense obsession with an obscure British actor, whose name I have forgotten. Except hers didn't fizzle out. She has basically spent most of her retirement funds buying memorabilia on eBay to make a museum/shrine in her house and traveling overseas to various locations that he lived and worked. Fortunately he died in 1975 or thereabouts or she probably would have been arrested for stalking by now.

It’s been a very long while. I think inexperience and hormones fuels it, which is why it rarely happens to me now. I can’t pinpoint how or why I fall for certain actors. When I was a teen, definitely Leonardo DiCaprio (Romeo & Juliet era). In the past few years I’ve liked Eddie Redmayne, Diego Luna and Nicolaj Coster-Waldau. Other than being pretty boys they don’t seem to fall into a type.

I get this sometimes. A few months ago it was John Mayer, then I watched his stupid Instagram stories and realized he's totally obnoxious. It passed. I also get stupid crushes IRL that pass.
