How much did you pay for a pool membership in North Arlington?

Ok, are you sure that’s the reason the Ft. Myer swim team isn’t part of the NVSL? That’s a pretty serious allegation. I’m open to learning that you’re right, but it strikes me as a pretty big leap.

This is absolutely true. I don't know if you have noticed, but there aren't a lot of black folk in NVSL or Northern Virginia in general. This is due to segregation and racist policies. We aren't talking the 2025 here. These pools have been around a long time. We are talking about policies and circumstances in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Since we're talking VA. Maybe even the 90s.

The other option was NVSL, which was segregated at that time.

+1. Close in moco has lots of public pools. And many private ones. We just do the public ones in Bethesda (outdoor) and silver spring (indoor) both of which are very close to the DC border.
