We’re not rooting for him! We are just pointing out the obvious. I, for one, couldn’t care less what they do. Not my life.

Comment on the first page: I so wish they are secretly in love and end up together.

I watched it and I don't get this controversy. It looked fairly professional to me, like watching dancers. I mean they ARE intimate acting partners, right? And that's what they did! I think what makes it weird maybe is the characters from movies don't usually perform a love song in a theater.

Then he apparently dated Renee Zellweger? Before her "fraud" marriage to Kenny Chesney

Then he was with Zoe Saldana for a while

Then the barely legal chick

He strikes me as a guy with a lot of issues underneath the surface.

Onto the new!

I almost wonder if the studios push Cooper and Gaga to play into this chemistry in order to promote the movie and generate buzz?

Ding, ding, ding, ding!

If you watch the performance when they are at the very end, he looks up and straight at Irina before turning to Gaga. They gave the people what they wanted which was a recreation of their partnership in the movie. It is called acting people.

Interesting. Thought they were amazing and the song is brilliant.

I don’t really like the song - the Lalala part seems trite and lazy. But I loved the performance tonight. They do have a ton of chemistry.
To me, in the context of the movie, the song is very powerful. But I don't think it will hold up in the long run when other people sing it.

Yes. It’s one sided. He likes her. She ADORES him.

100% this. Could not agree more.

And I just remembered: The Oscar commercials specifically said that he would be performing the song as Bradley Cooper, not his character in the movie. When I first saw that, I thought it was weird. Since when have they ever announced something like that before?

His character in the movie has a deeper voice and he stayed in character when he sang in the movie. I took it to mean he was going to sing in his real life speaking voice and it sounded that way last night.

I dont think he's gay, I don't think she's attractive, and I think it's all built up for Oscar buzz and everyone is buying in.

Yea.. you are a little over the top, take it down a notch or 20.

Oh the irony

Ha! I think it was someone on the Rewatchables podcast that said that this song was going to spawn a million bad high school talent night performances, as no one but Gaga can do that Lalala section well.

One thing is for certain. Gaga goes to the same tanning salon as our President.

Brangelina were acting in Mr and Mrs Smith but everyone could feel the electricity. I think that's what it is. I'm not convinced that CooGa is a real thing but I also wouldn't be SURPRISED I'll say that.
