Honestly, he probably doesn’t really care. You don’t understand politics very well, do you? It’s all for show. They know their audience.

Exactly. There is not hatred for any group, it is all to rile people up. These people only look out for their own interests. The stupid sheeple are the ones who are doing stupid things. You never see an NRA leader do mass shooting, do you? Its their sheeple followers who do that. Eric Trump will not be stopping the Caravan even though he is a hunter, but stupid militia types are congregating to kill people. The Christian Pu$$ygabbing Billiionaire in this country is no different than the Muslim Journalist-Kiling Billionaire in Saudi Arabia.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease last year, and now after reading this thread I'm wondering what I did to deserve it?

You did nothing to deserve it. This entire thread is a little disgusting. When I'm with my Hospice patients and their families, one of the things we talk about is how life can seem so random. And it often feels completely unfair. I would love to invite some of these posters to spend the day with me. I'm spending the afternoon/evening with a six month old patient in our pediatric wing. She will probably die this afternoon. Her parents didn't deserve any of this. She didn't deserve any of it. As a chaplain and more importantly, as a human being, I urge some of you to really think about the pain you seem to delight in.

Nailed it. Some fo these people are actively seeking schadenfreude/karma/revenge/pay back - and mistaking one for the other.

If you are perfect and don’t have a story to share then why are you here?! No one is forcing anyone to open this thread.

This. Please stop this mindless and ignorant cultural misappropriation of the Hindu concept of Karma. You all are mostly talking about revenge, payback etc.

+100. There are some sick, sick people on dcum. Truly evil. This is exactly why you read so many miserable posts from miserable women. It isn't Karma. It's simply the Universal Law of the Universe. You reap what you sow. You can't plant corn and be shocked when beans grow. You can't hold anger and hatred in your heart and expect to be a decent person. It really is that simple.

Needless to say it was the most enjoyable call I’ve ever been on. “Surprisingly” it was the only IV I couldn’t hit in my life so he had to go without any pain meds.

You are a f$@c and should loose you job for causing a patient intentional pain

A woman in a Range Rover refused to let me in her lane (I had to make a right turn). She stepped on the gas and started speeding while looking at me. She then proceeded to crash her SUV into another car. There was significant damage to both cars. I was perfect karma. I was laughing so hard I was crying.

Some of these aren't so much karma as being mean towards someone else and calling it karma. Not administering pain meds to someone severely hurt? That's negligent not karma.

Karma is someone cutting you off in traffic and then at the next red light, they proceed through the intersection when the light is green and get t-bones by someone running the red light.

Karma is someone at work taking credit for a project you did and getting a bunch of notice and praise for it and then blowing the next project they're assigned that is exactly the same because they didn't know how to do the work.

Karma is your little brother bragging about getting the last ice cream bar and saying no when you ask if you can have a bite and then promptly dropping the ice cream on the ground.

If you DO something to cause the "karma" on someone else, be prepared for it to bite you back.

There is also good karma, IMO. Back when those Hatchimals were all the rage and sold out everywhere, I managed to snag one on the maker's website. It wasn't the one my niece wanted, but it was still a Hatchimal. A few weeks later I had to make an early morning Target run for work and just happened upon a display of 10 Hatchimals they were stocking, including the one my niece wanted. I grabbed it and listed the other one for sale on a FB yard sale group. Others were listing them for up to $250 and people were paying, but I felt bad doing that, so I listed it for the same price I paid. The person who bought it from me thanked me for not jacking up the price and said good karma was going to come my way. Sure enough, a few weeks later I had a voicemail on my phone from a recruiter. I wasn't looking for a job and didn't have my resume posted anywhere at the time. She got my information from someone working at that company who'd previously worked with me over 5 years prior. They remembered I was excellent at doing the job in question and wanted to reach out to see if I was interested. It was a huge pay increase, better benefits, and much closer to my home. Good karma, indeed!

NP. Maybe it’s mean, but being bullied can really leave scars. So the bully got to feel some pain for 15-20 minutes after making PP feel pain, fear, self-loathing, dread, etc. for a long stretch of time. It’s not the best, but it’s understandable and now maybe PP can close that chapter.

He doesn’t swear in members of the house, the speaker does. Even in the senate the swearing in is ceremonial. Also, if you follow politics at all you will know he swore someone in already on thr Hindu holy book.

+1. Who cares that a dirtbag bully was in a little pain for a 10 minute ambulance ride?

You aren’t honestly equating physical pain, which has real physical implications, to the “pain” of childhood bullying, are you?
