Thanks, I appreciate you coming back to respond. We are appealing with a 134 WISC and had a 13 GBRS. I think our chances are good but obviously who knows. Good luck to you! |
Same to you. |
CogAT and What were the WISC subscores? |
We are appealing with a 127 WISC and a 13 GBRS...yikes, I’m nervous, |
This, the sub scores on the tests really play a large part. You can get a 135 WISC with the higher scores being on the working memory and processing, but if the verbal and or fluid are lower (i.e. under 125) and this is supported by the sub scores on the CoGAT (overall 132 but verbal was in the 120s) and the GBRS primarily talks about math strength...well it would not support a level iv placement. |
CogAT 123 WISC - V - 134 verbal - 132 spatial 119 fluid reasoning 134 working memory 120 processing speed 129 |
+1 |
| My DC with identical sub scores on the WISC V to the 134 FSIQ above was accepted first round. Hope this helps. |
Thank you. Those are very solid scores. Your child is gifted and should be in the program. |
We had to appeal. I have a 136 SB |
| Well, pdf files are often really clumsy, so to speak. It's inconvenient to copy-paste to Word docs and the size of pdf files is often way to big. But where there's a problem, there's a solution. You can shrink pdf file size using this free programme that I've already done and I'm totally satisfied with the result. |
