Definitely. My great-mamaw used to keep her wad of cash in her bra and a loaded gun under her pillow! And she dipped, too. |

Omg. I did not know this was a thing in US. I am an immigrant from India. Back in the old country this is called the“Punjabi pocket”. All aunties had money in their blouses and their excuse was that no pickpocket could steal money from them.
Ugh… beyond tacky!! |
| So tacky and gross. |
- isn’t that where young women typically stick the cell phone they then hold up to their face? |
| This is a cute pre-Covid thread. |

I didn’t even know this was a thing!
I’m well endowed. I can’t imagine putting more .. stuff.. down my bra. |
Low class Trashy |
What does this mean? |
Np.. means she used smokeless tobacco products then you spit it out |
| We need more clothing with pockets. |
Truth! |
Guy here. I'm pretty neutral about it. I don't think it's particularly sexy but it doesn't offend me. I used to see it a lot when I was in my 20's and going to bars with female friends. As a 40 something, I can't remember the last time I saw it. Nobody I socialize with these days would do that. |
| My petite new england grandmother always wanted me to keep a twenty in my bra in case anyone stole my wallet. She wouldn’t have approved of me fishing around in front of people to get it, but she was very worried about pickpockets and purse thief’s. We think crime is bad now but I think during the Great Depression there was a lot of petty theft. And in the pre cell phone era, being stuck out someplace with no money was a serious problem. |
