He didn't look 16. He barely looked 14. And no 26 year old should pursue a 16 year old. Stop defending Spacey. (Is this Spacey? His publicist?) |

Hollywood knew he was a pedophile. |
|
What's the age of consent in London ? 13 years ago he got beat up trolling in a park. His word, KID, tried to con him.
He was known to be rough with those KIDS. LA Confidential was written for Weinerstein and Space Cadet. |
|
Spacey did a movie with MacCauley Culkin when he was a kid. Mac was friends with the two Coreys...and they all were friends with Michael Jackson.
Jeffrey Epstein was basically running a pedophile ring, and it's been known for years that Spacey and Epstein were pals. Google Lolita express. |
Epstein is also pals with the Clintons. So what? Being pals means nothing. |
|
This is going to get ugly. Each thread of the tapestry that gets pulled is going to unravel other threads, until the whole thing comes undone.
They're gonna have to cancel the Academy Awards this year. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the fallout from this is the end of Hollywood. I'm not suggesting that movies and television are going away, but they will be scattered away from the current power centers, into different locales and different business models. |
Say "Goodbye!" Hollywood.

| The scare-mongering of the post above is exactly what the accused would like everyone to believe, that if you threaten them, you threaten your very livelihoods and existence. It is how the perpetrators maintain power, control, and a code of silence over the violated, and anyone willing to speak up and speak out. To them I say do not be afraid to speak the truth, your institutions will survive the sunlight of scrutiny and be better off for it. The Catholic Church, after all, is still around today. |
Who's "scaremongering"? It's only "scary" if you work in Hollywood. It's not my "institution," I'd love to see the Hollywood go down and be replaced by independent film makers. |
It may not intimidate you, but your argument --that if you take the perpetrators down, you bring the whole damn House of Cards (including yourself, and any innocent bystanders, or victims) ; has it so happens, been used very effectively by perpetrators and predators (either explicitly or implied), in any setting or sector (Penn State, the Catholic Church), to intimidate or discourage people who know, hear, or even see something, from reporting it. Do not be afraid of the Truth. |
| Welp... looks like we will never find out how House of Cards ends... hope the witch hunt was worth it |
Netflix just cancelled it. Too bad they didn't just kill off his character and keep going with RWP |
Good for Netflix. This is not a Witch Hunt, this is a man with serious murmurs, and now one actual allegation, of pedophilia following him. And even before Anthony Rapp's allegation was made public, Robin Wright (Claire Underwood) has suggested that she would not return for another Season. There are many excellent shows on television currently, including on Netflix, no need to watch the one with Kevin Spacey. |
That makes me sad for her. I was thinking about the last night after I read the Kevin Spacey news, torn between not wanting to support him by watching his shows and wanting to support RWP and the character she and the show created. If it had to end early, at least it ended on a strong note for her with her character on top. |
Wait, I just went and read the news myself. It's not ending with the season they just released, they're filming season 6 right now, will release season six, and then are cancelling it after that. They said Spacey currently is not on set, I wonder if they will alter the storyline for the final season and do some reshooting to minimize/eliminate his role in it. |
