As an aside...isn't it interesting that Ivanka didn't get her hands dirty? That's because she's the most evil - just like her dad. I can see her telling Kushner and even her brother do it. To prove loyalty. That gal really is a clever one. I'm impressed. |
Good point pp. I can see Kushner going to jail just like his daddy. Will Ivanka stick with him then? |
Ivanka will go to jail over the Azerbaijan hotel deal.

Note at 1:09 PM on June 9, 2016, Trump tweeted a reprise of asking for the 33,000 emails to Russia. This would have been right around the meeting in question. Coincidence? |
This. Remember also, on November 9/10, right after the election, the Russians admitted to being in touch with the Trump campaign: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/russia-contacts-donald-trump-campaign-election/ |
Trump is doing a great job gaslighting with the tweets about the DNC servers, in conjunction with Eric hinting that the Russians had information about the DNC contacting them. Ugh. |
Good lord. This seems like a slam dunk for collusion, no? Campaign manager, son and son-in-law meet with foreign agent to get information damaging to the opponent. What am I missing? |
I don't think that he can even use that as a defense. The FBI sets up stings all the time where terrorists are promised a bomb. They show up and instead they get handcuffs. The bigger issue is whether the intent can be proven. |
Assuming they colluded (which it looks like) what crimes could they be charged with, if any? Even if Trump can't be charged, certainly his son and Manafort could face charges, right? |
And when does this become outright treason? This is insane. Yes, maybe Donald Trump is right - he can murder someone on 5th Avenue and no one will care. How do we hold legislators responsible? Our our judicial and law enforcement, for that matter? Where are the checks and balances? |
There are a long list of crimes that the campaign would be responsible for, or would be charged with. Even Trump's tweets and statements regarding the 30,000 emails would be considered part of the collusion, so yes, he is directly implicated in this. |
By voting out the ones who don't GAF about treason. 484 more days. |
PP here, and yes, of course. But what in the immediate. Who is watching out for the US and our our laws and sovereignty who has any power to do anything? It's insane that the GOP is letting this happen on their watch. Isn't this the party of "American values" and "America First"? What is less American than allowing a foreign government to meddle in our elections and to actually solicit that interference and comply with it? |
No one.

The break-in at the Watergate (the second one, the one that got noticed) was in June 1972. Nixon resigned in August 1974. |
