And is it really all that helpful to set expectations that every activity has to have a payoff down the road? I know plenty of successful friends who make a ton of money at big law firms, live in great homes, with a fat 401k ...and they're 15 years from retirement and miserable. Yes - smart, rich, successful people can be extremely happy. But sometimes the "achievement" message leads to slogging through a career you hate because you think it's the right thing to do.

Exceptional Asians make the schools exceptional be it - TJ, Blair, RM, or Poolsville. Even average Asians in sufficient numbers will make the schools stats look pretty good.

PP's post above was misleading and didn't provide complete picture.

How was the PPPs post misleading? They gave the same info you provide in the link you posted for Rmib. Also if you notice the poster who posted stats for Blair SMAC rmib, poolesville HS and Whitman HS immediately posted a correction to their post apologizing for omitting the IB magnet designation for Richard Montgomery i.e. They did not intend to give the impression that their stats were for the entire high school
