Neighbor dog ruining our snow!

This thread is hilarious but this last statement is absurd. What about your nasty kids and guests who don't always wash their hands after peeing and pooping and touch all of the stuff in your house? GASP! Chill the f@#k out.

There is a ton of snow! Take a shovel full of clean snow and throw it onto the yellow snow- you'll have your white front yard again. Not a big deal.

No one wants to make snow angels with yellow halos.

If you don't mind cleaning up dog urine, spittle, and other body fluids that's fine, but I don't love it. Plus it has been a tough year so far and this is the first world anyway! Also today my crock pot caught fire, and the cat brought in a mouse, and I can't leave the house because of all the snow.

Just walked my dog for 40 min. Didn't see a single other person, yet we used a leash.

Anonymous wrote:Yes, my pinecones! I have an extensive collection for nature crafting. So I am attached to the ones in my yard. I'm also an amateur phtotographer and have been trying to get nice pristine snow pictures so this despoiling of the snow and yard was upsetting. I spent several hours fixing the damage and burying the yellow and gold snow. It was disgusting and I had to throw out my yard work gloves after touching the yellow and gold pee snow. Yuck! I'm sure there was also spittle from the dog salivating all over the yard in the snow too because he chewed up some of the snow.

Are the pine cones artisanal?

Let your dog run around in your own damn yard people. We totally noticed that today. I have a 2 year old that is TERRIFIED of dogs. Having your dog running towards her is not helping.

My dog is terrified of 2 year olds. Having toddlers run toward him isn't helping.

Assuming this post is still the OP or a like-minded person, I cannot believe you can't see the hypocrisy. Cats are killers - they decimate the wild bird population, do not stay in yards, have far worse smelling bodily functions, and unfortunately are never leashed and occasionally not even spayed or neutered. Keep it in the house, always.

As a dog owner, I will say that one should try very, very hard to keep your dog leashed in snowy suburbs and cities. I have seen nice dogs who were so stir crazy with cabin fever run out and bite other dogs; I have heard of dogs getting hit by running out into snow-filled streets where there is less room to drive and more likelihood of a car crashing in an avoidance maneuver; I have been pulled to the icy ground while walking my dogs because someone else's loose dogs ran over to play or harass us. Do your best to keep them leashed or keep them in your yard. And for heaven's sake, clean up their poop. Now, if you want to let them pee on-leash in the perimeter of the yard of the pinhead with the pine cones, be my guest.

You can love your dog while realizing it's only an animal and thus has fewer rights than any human, regardless of how precious it may be to you.
