And this shows how little political knowledge you have. You are willing to aid in the rise of a right-wing president (because let's face it, Bernie would lose to either Trump or Cruz, and if you don't see that, you haven't been paying attention), rather than vote for a candidate who's views are quite aligned with Bernie's. |
Whatever plan finally emerges will be based on some sort of compromise. ACA was nothing like the plan that Obama proposed when he was running for office. I would like to see a univeral coverage or at the least a public option included in ACA. Sanders, even if he wanted to do so, would not be able to increase taxes to the 90% that some of is detractors are claiming. |
This is what you don't understand. No new healthcare plan is going to emerge. Read the "plan," which is not even really a plan, and read the responses to it. Amazingly, he's managed to get some journalists saying Chelsea was kind of right after all. |
It is you who lack the political knowledge that you write about because polls show that Sanders would do better than Clinton against Trump and most of the other Republican candidates. But the reason I - and quite a few others - would not vote for Clinton is because she is just dishonest - and given that over 60% of the electorate feels the same way mine is not an isolated opinion. I'd vote for Biden or Warren in a heart-beat. |
So you are voting for him knowing that he will not keep his promises? How does that even make sense? |
And you seriously believe that Clinton will keep her promises? |
The GOP was tweeting and emailing support for Sanders last night. Did anyone see that? Unprecedented. |

Yeah, the healthcare plan came out about two hours before the debate last night. Bernie supporter, why do you think the Republicans are cheering on your candidate? I'd like to hear your opinion. |
The Republicans would relish running against Hillary.
She is detested by the Republican base and it would ensure a large turn-out. Combine that with the fact that some Bernie supporters would just not vote for her and her general lack of credibility and trustworthiness and Republicans think she would be beatable. Embracing Obama as she did may play well for the primaries but it may not when it comes to the general but we know that she will happily discard Obama at that time. Sanders does not evoke among Republicans the same sort of antipathy that Clinton does. |
So you think that's why the Republicans were tweeting and emailing support for Sanders during the debate? Because they want to run against Hillary? That's a head scratcher. |
He's a joke among republicans!! The GOP won't vote for anyone except the GOP... |
Say what you will but Sanders polls better than Clinton against most of the Republican candidates. |
And you seriously believe there are Republicans who would voter for Hillary? I think it is a lot more likely that there are Democrats who would vote for Trump. |
