Should two 12-year-old girls be allowed to go to Maroon Five concert w/o adult and be in "pit"?

Movies, the mall, fairs, expos, sporting events- I guess if you need examples the answer is "no".

My 12 yo has been to a Maroon 5 concert with me and friends. We had lawn seats and stayed together the whole tiime. She would not have wanted to go to a concert without an adult. I think she's capable of avoiding creeps, but what if she and her friend got separated. The pit is really loud too.
