Make me feel better-- Name something you hate about your house

Our houses are very close to each other, which sucks because every encounter with her is unpleasant. If I could afford a fence, it would really improve for us. Alas,we can't afford one now, so we are stuck living next door to the crazy lady.

That sucks. BTDT, moved. It really does make a difference to NOT live next to a crazy person (who tries to say everyone else is crazy, of course).

Three of the tiniest bathrooms known to man. Literally, I can barely turn around in them, and since having a baby, bathing her is a nightmare. I dream if having a bathroom sink with enough space on either side to place both my toothbrush AND my flatiron.

we are on a cut through street and cars often go pretty fast down the street which infuriates me.

back yard gets swampy agter it rains, including one area that fills like a pond. Not sure how we will solve this issue.

drainage and soil fill.

You can also plant it! Lots of Iris LOVE this type of soil! There are other plants as well, like toad lilies and some clumping grasses. Think bog garden plants. I have an area around stonework under the deck, and planted it rather than correct drainage, as a temporary solution. The garden is so beautiful and works so well to contain the water issues, I never did correct the drainage. Merrifield Gardens has a GREAT selection of plants that will work.
