Teacher told class they need to wear deodorant.

This thread is THREE YEARS OLD so hopefully the now 7th grader is using deodorant.

I thought the supposed link between deodorant and breast cancer was debunked a long time ago. Deodorant does not cause breast cancer.

Wow, do 9 year olds stink like BO? I imagine they stink like sweat, but armpit BO, I don't know. I would have recommended they take a shower every day. When my son, who plays sports, doesn't shower, his hair smells, and it is a general sweat smell that would still be there with deodorant. At that age, they need to shower a lot more in the summer.

I think the teacher was out of line. That's the job of the parents.

If you have worked in a school you'd know that oftentimes parents don't actually do the job of the parents.
