Someone rolled their eyes at me today...

Anonymous wrote:OP, I have to call troll. I recognize your writing style. You always have a come-back that seems to completely validate your standpoint. It is so very, should I dare say, Bouquet Bride or FTMFBFN (or whatever it is)? Stop practicing your English here because I can spot you from a mile away.

I recognize it too! OP, are you the hot wife with the hot husband and you just don't understand how the rest of us mommies can let ourselves go and be so disgusting in the way we dress and look? I think that OP had a rebuttal for every single post and it seems eerily similar to this thread.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but I have no clue what you're talking about here...

Actually, if you missed it I'll repeat...

My main goal was to leave the store without a screaming child. And I accomplished it. No, I don't need validation from strangers and it's pretty funny that you'd think so. If I needed it I would not be comfortable singing in public while pushing my shopping cart.

No, OP, I think the PP got it exactly right. If not, why post your dumb story here? you were upset someone rolled their eyes at you instead of finding you cute. Doesn't your wonderful, loving DH give you enough of that at home?

How did you know he rolled his eyes at you if you weren't looking at him hoping for validation? If you were so into your kid and only your kid, you wouldn't even notice he rolled his eyes at you. I don't make a habit of looking at the people behind me in line, especially if my kid is screaming and I'm trying to entertain him.

Was he a metrosexual? Do real manly men roll their eyes?

OP sounds like a PITA. I'm guessing DH has a piece of ass on the side to maintain his sanity.

Or OP is that "piece of ass" as you put it.

You sound like someone who just found out about DH's affair. I'm so sorry for your experience.

OP, IF you are disappointed in their reaction to YOU, next time you know - do not engage. D.C.'s unspoken motto, unfortunately!
