Good alternatives to UVA and William and Mary?

I got into UVA, W&M, and NYU and chose to go to JMU because people were the nicest there and I liked the campus there. I am currently working at Johns Hopkins and during my interview there they made a comment that JMU is a great school.

Same here, PP! I was also accepted to UVA and W&M, but my other acceptances were VA Tech, Dickinson and Bucknell. JMU was just the right "fit" for me and I'm so glad I chose to go there.

From your list, for 2016 DD plans on applying to UVA, VT, Bucknell, and JMU. On paper she's really liking JMU, then Bucknell.
