That’s not very crazy if you follow the LA Times. Mexicans were literally firebombing black houses in South LA not very long ago. Black homeowners were driven out and Democrats, including a black mayor and congressman Maxine waters did nothing. Latinos also make up most of ICE.

Not following too closely, but what a major parental fail if your 17 your old is murdering people over race for goodness sake and then blowing their heads off in a car.

So many things went wrong. If I had any authority about anything, I would start with the parents and bring any charge I could. That is not normal for 17 year olds. It's the parents that brought them to this place. And they should be prosecuted with any law that is applicable.

I am not excusing their behavior, but yes, they were kids. Seventeen-year-old boys are boys, not men. They are not adults, but they were definitely old enough to know what they were doing was wrong and evil.
