Lol... Those are folks that vote in big numbers. |
Plus that small detail of the loss of lives. |

I'm planning to attend the "no Kings" protest, but I'd also attend a "no war" protest. How does one go about arranging a protest? I'm kind of hoping that by attending the "No Kings" protest I'll figure out how to set up a "No War" protest-- if no one else has done it yet. I'm just one person, but I guess it just takes one to get the ball rolling. |
I don’t know how to arrange a large-scale protest, but I’m sure that you don’t need to figure it out from scratch. Have you connected with organizations like Indivisible? https://indivisible.org/ |
Exactly. People can make the leap. Or, be daring enough to show up with a "[insert snappy anti-war slogan]" sign. |

DJT authoritanianess is why we are in this stupid war with Iran.
No Kings = No Asinine Wars |
Spoken like a true MAGA mouth-breather. Congratulation on your ageism and depravity! |

For multiple reasons, I probably won’t be attending the No Kings 3 March downtown. I do want to emphasize that there will also be smaller protests in the area — some scheduled to be overlapping with the largest protests, and some scheduled so that people can attend an earlier, smaller protest— then also attend the larger one if they wish to do so. The No Kings site lists some of them. Others are likely to be neighborhood-centric, and more spontaneous.

+1000 Neither of my parents attended college, but they clearly understood which party delivered SS, Medicare, Medicaid, and the ACA and which party didn't offer squat save tax cuts for the already rich. |
I’m planing to attend the No Kings protest with an anti-war/anti-imperialism sign. No need to reinvent the wheel. Lots of messages at these demonstrations. |
why is the "no kings" protest exclusive of a "no war" protest? Seriously. If you really want to waste energy on organizing a "no war" protest as opposed to building "no war" capacity within Indivisible, then post on FB or your preferred social media that you are protesting outside of (1) your local federal building or (2) the closest GOP elected's office. Give a time and an address. Bring posterboard and markers and have at it. There were Friday afternoon protests outside the federal building in my hometown from the start of Reagan through the election of Clinton. I left my midwestern hometown in the mid-80s, but if I arrived on a Friday morning, I knew that I might run into folks I knew by showing up at the federal building @ 4 pm. |
Hit a nerve, did it? I’m not MAGA. I’m a realist. These AARP marches are just virtue signaling for liberal women with one foot in the nursing home. Black women still don’t like you, in case you didn’t know. |
| are they going to protest the aytatolah |
You'll be lucky if you get to be that old and that wise. |
