| Am genuinely surprised (but grateful) for this. I can’t figure out the motivation. Doesn’t everyone hate Feds now? |
It's the most Christian holiday. Mandatory Christian work prayer service is coming in January. |
This Jew is quite content to have the days off. |
That can't appreciate one nice thing. That's a lot of paid days off. First time too. It was a nice thing to do. |
I’d say Easter is the most significant holiday in Christianity but there’s no federal holiday for Easter. |
I was going to report them on their "anti Christian" behavior survey they asked us to complete if they didn't give us time off on Christmas. Maybe a bunch of people did this. |
I am super surprised by this. My bet was full days on 24th/26th based on how this administration treated Feds this year. I am seriously curious what their thought process/reason was. Anyone care to guess? |
| Will govt contractors be off? |
Most can't work when gov is closed. They are forced to take vacation. |
Yes, with no pay. And, it’s crummy as they just announced that buildings are closed so no way to make up the time. And, many of these same people did not get paid during the shutdown. |

| Will we get 1/2 on the 31st? |
Why are federal employees so adverse to working? Their lack of work ethic is unreal, but not surprising. |
Who wouldn't prefer to be not working and getting paid over working and getting paid? I don't think that's a Fed thing, it's a human thing. |
Because it’s become a hostile work environment run by pedophiles. Any other questions? |
