We give out fruity candy, salty snack and oreos.

4 & unders get something else.

I set up an entire display for one night. Lights, pumpkins, animatronics. A bubble machine. Then put a row of tables outside under an overhang and let the kiddos pick what they like. Full size chocolate bars, small size bars, oreo cookies in packs, sour patch kids and cheetos and chips for salty. The shy ones don't have to interact with strangers. I like watching them decide and they politely ask if they can have more than one. One kid told me "this is the best house ever". So worth it to me. I get about 80 kids so the cost is not over the top expensive.
