I lost 60 pounds in 5 months without using GLP-1.

I will not celebrate you starving yourself. I hope you be the help you need before you do permanent damage.

If you can do 700 calories a day, why not just eat a healthy calories deficit?

because it's more difficult. i already explained this.

I am at 136 lbs now. I am walking less now (around 23k steps average) and eating more (around 1000 calories). The weight loss has slowed down but still continued.

You're relying on the iPhone to log your steps?

M'kay; now the absurdity of your claims makes sense.

is there something wrong with that?

Yes. It’s not accurate.

Evidence?

The evidence is every one of us who walks 25K+ steps at Disney and know what that looks like. It can't be done in a normal workday.

Having said that, I think OP is probably on to something with the theory of "shrinking" your stomach for long term results.

I just walked 25,000 steps at magic kingdom last week. Here’s what that looked like: woke up. Walked to get breakfast. Walked it back to my hotel room. Walked with my family to the bus stop. Walked from the bus stop to the entrance of the park. Walked, non-stop in MK for 8 hours straight. Walked back to the bus stop. Walked back to the hotel room. This is very clearly a troll post.

You did not walk nonstop in MK or else your family didn’t go on rides nor wait in line for rides, nor stop for bathroom or food. Plus with a family group you probably shuffled along, stopped to look at characters, parades, etc.

There is a big difference between walking in an amusement park and exercise walks.

I have no idea if OP hits 30k steps per day, but I know that your amK walking was different than OP’s exercise walks.

Is this a troll? 700 calories a day + exercise is not healthy.

Pics or it didn't happen. OP is a troll.

Can you please share your meal plan? I'm not sure what I could eat to get 700 calories in a day but not be starving all the time.

Not OP, but I lost a ton of weight with a similar calorie count. Wasn’t exercising though. Daily diet was basically coffee but no breakfast, soup for lunch, grilled chicken or fish with a huge salad for dinner. Ate fresh fruits/vegetables for snacks throughout the day whenever I felt hungry. I would also usually have some kind of low calorie protein snack before lunch. No bread, pasta, rice, or nuts. I’m no longer trying to lose, but have kept the weight off for several months now still eating healthy food but not counting calories.

I don't have a meal plan. I skip all the meals and I only do binges. I tried to fight binges for 40 years and now I just leaned into them. I binge on eggs and egg whites, lean ham, prosciutto, tomatoes, various fruits and berries, meat, fish, sometimes cheese in some form. I get a tall latte from Starbucks frequently. I will also eat bites of various foods that family is eating etc.

As I wrote previously, I know it feels like you would be hungry all the time but I was hungrier when I was doing (or trying to do) 1400/day) than on 700. it's kind of, when you start eating really little, food just kind of fades out as an interest. I don't think about it as much. whereas at 1400 I was thinking about it all the time.

The other thing is, I think my stomach has become much smaller and I feel full with small amounts of food. So when I binge I binge only a fraction of food that I would have binged previously. I could not stop, it was never enough. now, if I binge say 400 calories of food, I feel like I am going to to explode and I don't eat for many hours after that. I am truly full and I am not even considering another binge (while previously I would be binging every 2 hours or so). The other day I was traveling and I had a regular restaurant meal of my once favorite food that I haven't eaten in a long time and I ate all of it. I was so full I didn't eat for 24 hours after that.

Why do you call eating 400 calories of food a binge? That’s just a meal. I’m worried about you, op, you have very distorted ideas of food and health.

Also, if you’re not hungry for 24 hours after one big meal—you may be constipated. Do you poop regularly?

700 calories is an eating disorder. Full stop.

I do not understand the tolerance and promotion of eating disorders on this board.

I really hope this is a troll and not a real person.

for me a meal implies a plan of what you are going to eat, putting things on a plate, sitting at the table. binging is when you go to a kitchen without a clear plan (maybe just first item), they you start sampling all kind of food randomly with no clear end point. almost all eating is done standing.

Disagree. Rapid weight loss like OP’s increases the risk of gall stones and pancreatitis. Not healthy at all!

It’s all relative.

Obesity is not healthy and carries huge health risks. When you compare the risks of rapid weight loss with the risks associated with obesity, weight loss is exponentially healthier.
