What did Nelson, Snead, and Adamson do?

Seriously, if we have to repeat all of their stories then you're probably just not tuned in enough to the shenanigans of MCPS. And that's ok. But have some self-respect and do a little bit of homework. The only one I'll give you a little bit of grace on is Snead, because her case very much flew under the radar, but Doug Nelson and Vickie Adamson's failings made the news several times over the last 2 years.

This man has no remorse.

Thank you for sharing this! Doesn’t change how he treated us, but helps to see he isn’t getting his way after all.

Such a loser to complain he was coerced by MCPS when he was the worst offender of manipulating his staff!

My favorite part of that legal document is the phrase “apparent success in boosting student achievement” because he had nothing to do with student success. He was a joke to students and they hated him for forcing IXL on them.

IXL was not just for the students at schools in which he worked. Every kid probably hated the adult at their schools for "forcing" IXL on them.

Were they forced to miss electives to sit in another room while a para forced them to do IXL? I watched teen boys cry saying they didn’t know what to do because nobody would TEACH them and the para would just say the script Beidelman gave her over and over until the end of the period.

What was in the script?

Where is there mention of them? Not everyone is as adept as you in MCPS drama.

I will repeat what I said: search this forum for their names.

If you don’t know what happened at Wootton High School or Kennedy High School for the past two years, Googling those high schools should give you plenty of news stories.

On this site, here is the search for Adamson

The only info new to me in this arrivals is the January 2026 hearing. The state affirmed the decision prior to his July 23 appeal. He really wants his unpaid leave money. I can’t imagine it being that much given how often he was out of the school building.

Adamson is a gifted educator. Kennedy was not the right fit for her. Does that make her a terrible human being?

It does not.

Do you actually think he used leave when he was out of the building?

I would have thought he was legally due that leave money. He lost it because he was fired for cause?
