Is it true that there is still one that remains open in U.S.? In Bend, OR. It was a tourist attraction as the last Blockbuster. Family Video outlasted Blockbuster. |
Are you thinking of the Geo Tracker? I'm playing Leisure Suit Larry and hoping my parents don't come into the family room. |
Simple because we were just more clueless as to what's going on. |
The Geo Tracker? That was the epitome of a cool car for me when I was 16 (in 1996). |
You poor bastard. You have my sympathies. |
I still have my Sprint PCS number. 703 as God intended. |

Ohmygod! Prodigy was wild! The scammers, the needy women, the hungry men |

You can take my 703 from my cold dead hands. |
Yes!! The 1996 lineup was amazing!! No doubt, jewel, Gin Blossoms, Foo Fighters, Everclear, Garbage, Goldfinger. Remember it like it was yesterday. |
I sent the cassettes to Kodak/Legacybox and paid to have them converted. We didn't have any way to watch them - they were a mix of miniDVs and some other cassette format (because we did indeed switch from the big bulky camera to the smaller one!!). We used to have an adapter that you put the smaller tapes in to play it on a VCR but of course haven't had a VCR for years. I guess if the thumb drives they are now on become obsolete we will have to move to the newest technology but I figure that's for the kids to do. |
