SUVs were the hot new thing. My parents had a forest green '95 Ford Explorer and it was all the rage. We could load a dozen teenagers in that thing by sitting on each other's laps in the backseat and piling up in the trunk area. My mom let me borrow it to drive my friends to the Smashing Pumpkins concert.
