Can't happen. H street folley ruined that idea for a generation |
You wish. I see they are thinking about adding a trolley along the Reston corridor. I don't know where all these trolley people are coming from. Very very few are alive who could have ridden a trolley in Northern Virginia. They shut down in 1941. |
| They a re forward looking. After these endless and changing tariffs and ensuing inflation we will be so broke that bikes will be the only affordable thing left. Those limited car lanes are for the future red hat VIPs. |
m Do idling cars improve air quality? 🤔 |
NP. Bruh, this forum is mainly for dc metro area but has expanded to include other metro areas. This thread is about FX Co. |
+1 I think the arguing prior posters should start a separate thread as most of the posts are irrelevant to Fairfax county. |
Will you FFX people still comment on things happening in DC, MD or even Arlington? Or is that "different?" |
Generally no, because different areas have different issues, laws, etc. and this is more clear to me after moving from DC to outside of the beltway. Though I still commute to DC and work in DC so can be personally impacted so perhaps from that regard. However, many posters here do not seem to live in Fairfax county so are not personally impacted at all beyond an occasional visit a couple times a year, and probably only on weekends. It is even more obvious when posters do not follow up on comments listing specific major roads in Fairfax county. If you have concerns about road diets in DC, start a thread about it or comment on one of 8 million other threads actually specific to DC. |
