Whether they do something like this or not (and I’d really rather they didn’t), it NEEDS to be a refund or credit rather than just a handout check. If you didn’t pay the tax to begin with, you shouldn’t get anything back.

Giving free money from the government to people who don't work or pay taxes seems like...socialism. But these people call themselves national populists. They should combine this and call themselves national socialists. Or something like that. Maybe abbreviate it.
