No, treating social media like gas or water, that is, a public utility. Meaning that it has to adhere to the first amendment and you can’t get banned by a private company for exercising your free speech rights. Much like how Washington Gas can’t legally cut your gas line in the winter cause you’re MAGA because it’s a public utility, but a private bank can debank you if they want.

Having actually been in a public school… yes, the black engineers would accept a white, Hispanic, Native American member. And if that person put in the sweat equity, sure, the could be elected to a leadership position. And non-black kids do come to black affinity club meetings. And are welcome as long as they aren’t there for the purpose of disrupting the group. That said, I don’t think they get much out of it or tend to stick around. In related news, aethists can go to Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Bible study— again, as long as they aren’t respectful of the group purpose and aren’t there to start a food fight.
